Hello !
This plugin works perfectly on MyBB 1.6.2.
I think you could extend the plugin in the future.
You could include an option in which the author of the post (where appears
his signature), to have quickly access to change his signature.
Maybe a button "Change my signature" that can be seen only by the author of
the post.
Anyway... your plugin is is very interesting and I think that can be
extended.
