Do you want to create a thread that redirects the user to another place, now you can do with this plugin.

Upload and activate it.

Now create a new thread and insert this (replace URL with your link)
Redirect->http://www.mybboard.net

You can set usergroups which can make use of this feature via Settings -> Posting -> ThreadRedirect Permission.
