This plugin will deny the Selective Usergroups to Post Reply in Selective Forums only in Other's Threads. They're able to post in their own threads in those forums though.

Upload .zip archive in your forum's root and Extract. Activate it in Plugin's Manager and Adjust its Settings.
Make sure that if you're ticking the checkbox of "Can only view own threads?" in those forum's permission page then Untick it. With this plugin you are removing the ability of reply of the user other then Thread's Author and Staff :)
