Until it is updated this plugin by default only works with MyBB v1.4.*
There is a work-around that you can do to get it activated again with MyBB
v1.6.*, but it requires a -very- minor edit of a single file. Edit the file
locally and then upload it to your site - overwriting the old, unedited
file.
Extract the local archive file, then go to "inc > plugins" and open the
file "usersbrowsingthread.php" with a text editor. Search for this line of
text near the top of the file:
"compatibility" => "14*"
Change "14*" to "16*" and save the file, then upload it to your site.
Activate it from within the ACP. Done.

I like to mark my "hacked" plugins so that later on I don't forget about
them, I do the same thing for Firefox plugins. This is not required, but if
wish to do this as well just go to the same file that you edited above and
search for this line of text near the top of the file:
"name" => "Users Browsing Thread",
Then add whatever text you wish to the name description area. That is the
space between the quotes where you will find the text "Users Browsing
Thread".
As an example, I changed the line:
"Users Browsing Thread",
so that it looked like this:
"Users Browsing Thread - Mehtuus Edition",
Use whatever description you like. The name of the plugin within the ACP
plugin list will reflect whatever changes you make after you upload and
refresh the page.
